In a news release on Tuesday, May 7, Atlantic City police said 42-year-old Corey Brown of Chesapeake, VA, 43-year-old Malik Dean of Philadelphia, and 41-year-old Zara Griffiths of Paoli, PA, were arrested on Saturday, May 5.
Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired from a balcony at the Club Wyndham Skyline Tower on South North Carolina Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. Police learned that the shots came from a room on the 21st floor.
Brown, Dean, and Griffiths were inside the room when officers arrived. Griffiths told police that there was a gun in the room and said where it was, but officers couldn't find it.
Police were granted a search warrant and two guns were found in the room. Brown, Dean, and Griffiths were arrested.
Brown and Griffiths were charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and three counts of possession of a high-capacity magazine.
Dean was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, certain person not to possess a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and three counts of possession of a high-capacity magazine.

Brown, Dean, and Griffiths were held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
